This is Brad’s report from yesterday:
River is open to Lusby. Slushy at the bridge. No floating from whitetail to town. Got some fish on a lazy, pal and an rs2 below the dam this morning. Fishing was good. Ice picking sucked a**. I didn’t last too long…
There were a handful of folks out today…it was beautiful! Temps never made it above 20 but it was calm and the sun started peaking out this afternoon. Winter is a fantastic time to be on the water. Bring a stack of firewood and make a fire in a pit at Grey Reef or Pete’s Draw to keep warm. Fishing is great between deicing guides and keeping your hands warm. Pictures tell an even better story with a white landscape.
